1856 Entire letter from Jersey to Bordeaux with 1855 2d blue pair (trimmed perfs at top) each cancelled by small "3176" lozenge, superb red "ILES-C / ST. MALO" c.d.s (Sept 24) below and boxed "PD". A scarce early use in the first year of the service, prior to B.M datestamps being introduced in January 1857 when the new Anglo-French postal convention came into force. Photo on Page 178. (Image1)

1858-62 Entire letters (2) and an entire from Jersey to St. Malo bearing 1857 1d red strip of four, 1857 4d rose or 1862 4d red all cancelled by small "3176" lozenge with red octagonal "ANGL. B.M / ST MALO" datestamps and boxed "PD", the first endorsed "Per Trader", another "P. Fawn". All three with horizontal file folds, the 1d red entire with a few small holes or tears to the fold, the cancels fine. (3).

1859-62 Entire letter and entire from Jersey to France bearing 1857 4d rose or 1862 4d red cancelled small "3176" lozenges, with red octagonal "ANGL. B.M / ST MALO" datestamps and boxed "PD", both fine. (2).

1862 Entire letter from Jersey to St. Malo bearing 1857 1d red strip of four each cancelled by small "3176" lozenge, red octagonal "ANGL B.M / ST. MALO" datestamp (May 24) and boxed "PD". 1862-65 Entire letters from Jersey to St. Malo, the first with 1862 4d pale red plate 3 (trimmed perfs at top) cancelled small "3176" lozenge, the other with 1862 4d bright red plate 4, tied by large "3734" lozenge, both with octagonal red "ANGL. B.M / ST MALO" datestamps and boxed "PD", reverse with stains from mounting tape, the fronts fine. (2).

1863-65 Entire letters (3) and an entire from Jersey or Guernsey (3) to St. Malo bearing 1862 4d plates 3 or 4, or 1865 4d plate 7 (2), cancelled by large "3734" lozenges with octagonal "ANGL. B.M / ST MALO" datestamps in red and boxed "PD", two endorsed "Par Fawn", one with edge tear, light file folds but otherwise generally fine. (4).

1865 Entire letter from Jersey to St. Malo with 1863 4d plate 4 cancelled "409", red circular framed "PD", octagonal "ANGL. B.M / ST MALO" datestamp (Feb 11) and boxed "PD". Light file fold, otherwise fine and an unusual use of the B.M datestamp on a letter posted in Jersey, probably used in error instead of the "Iles. C" entry datestamp.
