The collection is laid out taking a journey around the island with views & postmarks, noted - 1844 envelope to Demerara, British Guiana, franked 6d, tied numeral '123' of Dunvegan, obverse bears a 1d h/stamp in red, reverse with transit marks & Demerara receiver, 1846 Isle of Skye undated circle, 1880's telegrams (2), cancelled Portree, a good variety of town & village pmks & scenes on postcards, also incl. a few modern locals on covers.
