Newspaper, 1865, 5¢ dark blue. Blue brush stroke cancel; couple creases and pulled perf at bottom, Very Fine appearance, an extremely rare example of the 1865 5¢ Newspaper issue, only six recorded examples in the Dr. Pepper census all of which are faulty.

This example is not included in the Pepper census and is without question one of the finest used examples in existence.
