Massachusetts -- 1819 Southbridge, MA hand written property deed Deed is signed by and for property sold by Oliver Plimpton. Plimpton was a native and resident of Southbridge and a man of considerable prominence. For many years he served as a justice of the peace, and was tax collector of the town. He served as quartermaster of a regiment in 1787. Plimpton Street in Southbridge is named after his family. (Image1)
