1849-1900 Letters (without covers) from Guernsey concerning the lease of Jethou (2) or written on behalf of the tenant Philip Barker concerning damage to housing or his intention to quit the island in 1877, and 1860 (Feb 17) letter written from Jethou by George Smith who says "the weather has been so bad I have not been to Guernsey since last Novr and then nearly lost my life in crossing"; and c.1909 unused picture postcards with circular "JETHOU ISLAND / CHAN.
