Hawaii, 1861, 5¢ blue, thin bluish paper. Margins large to just into frameline at lower right, small pre-use vertical crease, tied by red square grid handstamp on small ladies cover to Honolulu; light cover soiling, F.-V.F., an extremely rare interisland usage of the 1861 5¢ Kamehameha III issue, believed to have been used from Hilo (Hilo mark, similar to the Honolulu grid, has somewhat thicker bars and narrower separation between the bars), with 2007 P.F. certificate.
