Honolulu, Paid All, Feb 3" double-circle datestamp but is otherwise uncancelled, as it did not pay any rate since the 6¢ treaty rate did not require domestic U.S. postage, magenta "San Francisco, Paid All, Feb 18" transit cds at left; light vertical cover crease at center, Very Fine and interesting combination use, ex-Honolulu Advertiser, Twigg-Smith, with 2007 P.F. certificate.

Large red handstamped overprint, each spanning two stamps, red manuscript "Jan 1888" in top selvage, and faint violet "Return To…" archival handstamp at the top, top sheet margin imprint block of 10, o.g., stamps never hinged, exceptionally well centered with brilliant color; some separation in selvage (one piece of selvage missing), Very Fine.
