Box of Modern First Day Covers, with over 1,000 seemingly all different covers, from the mid-1970s to about 2004. We note many high denominations, se-tenant multiples, sets, etc. Over half of the covers are still in sealed plastic bags from Canada Post's "Prestige Prepack" semi-annual, quarterly, etc. service. Very fine and fresh lot.

Collection of First Day Covers, 1952 to 1990s with over 800 in all. The pre-Canada Post are often without cachet and mailed, but we note about 100 seldom seen (mostly oversized) cacheted covers from private companies such as Schering Corporation in Pointe Claire. Some of these early covers are sometimes accompanied by the issued stamp, usually in blocks, as well as the advertizing pamphlets, including the early black and white ones. Covers in the 1980s and 1990s are usually in pairs, sometimes for a different stamp combination, sometimes they are identical. We also note a few Calgary Stampede cachets, CNE in Ottawa, Saskatoon Exhibition, PNE Vancouver, as well as Edmonton and Regina Exhibitions and some common issues with the USA. Inspect for possible better items, overall very fine.

About 350 FDC Franked with Tagged Stamps, 1962 to 1972, with a good variety of different frankings, some covers have one tagged and one untagged stamp, different cachets from Rose Craft, Cole Cover, etc. mostly all originating from Winnipeg. Very fine.

Collection of Pharmaceutical FDC, 1950s to 1970s, each with the name of the company on back of the cover, with Elliott-Marion and Canada Envelope Company (74 #8 size covers, mostly on coloured envelopes, 1970-71), Caneco Envelopes (176 #8 size covers, 1955-69) and Schering (182 #10 or larger size covers, 1956-74). Collection of 73 First Day Covers from the 1930s. Nice group, with 27 having cachets or first day handstamps. Covers are all different, either by different cachets or different frankings. All but two are #8 size, and includes #s 211-215, 192-194 on single covers. Also #s 202, 203, 204, 206 as well as a good selection of Mufti, Coronation and Royal Visit covers.
