The item has been cleaned, 2016 PFC states, "it is a genuine usage on this rebacked cover front." The second cover is w/o backflap, small repair at top and small toned spots with Aug 24 date stamps and with notations on the reverse by Van Dyke MacBride theorizing that this might be a postmaster provisional. Also includes a 2016 PFC (838308) stating, it as a genuine usage, the cover with a small repair at top and with back flap." Both have been cleaned, somewhat blurred markings, Fine. (Image)
