1859-62 Entire letters from Jersey to France bearing 1857 4d rose or 1862 4d pale red both cancelled by small "1441" lozenge with red octagonal "ANGL. B.M / GRANVILLE" datestamps and boxed "PD", the first with a small ink stain on the front but otherwise very fine, the second with two diagonal folds which cross the stamp. (2).

1872 Cover to France "par steamer via Granville" bearing 6d deep chestnut plate 11 cancelled large "1706" lozenge, red octagonal "ANGL. B.M / GRANVILLE" datestamp (July 17) and boxed "PD". Flap missing, otherwise largely fine and an uncommon stamp with this cancel. Photo on Page 178. (Image1)
