Left sheet margin copy, full margins, touched at top, tied by blue "1" in circle drop-letter rating handstamp on light blue folded drop cover addressed to Thomas Swann Esqr. in Baltimore; stamp with small abrasion and split due to file fold, re-affixed askew, Very Fine appearance, a very rare example of carrier stamp tied by drop-rate marking. The Golden sale contained two covers with 1LB1 tied by the drop letter "1" in circle handstamp in black, this is the only example we have seen with the strike in blue.
