Claire Lee Chennault Signed Typed Letter 1948Air Force general (1893–1958) who commanded the famous Flying Tigers during World War II. TLS signed “C. L. Chennault,” one page, 8.5 x 11, CNRRA Air Transport letterhead, March 5th, 1948. Letter talks about thanking a writer for wedding wishes and how well Claire is getting along living in China after the war. Very rare signature of this great American aviator. Comes with the envelope from an A.P.O. post office in Shanghai. Also a 2017 full letter of authenticity from JSA Authentication.
