Amelia Earhart, 1935 Los Angeles-Mexico-Newark-New York Flight. Registered flight cover bearing U.S. 10¢ dark blue (C7) tied by "Los Angeles, Calif. Airmail Field, Apr. 19 1935" cds duplex to Mr. G.P. Putnam in Mexico City, Mexico, inscribed and signed "Carried by air, Amelia Earhart", then reforwarded with Mexico 40c Official tied by Mexico City Apr. 20 cds to New York via Newark where it received U.S. 3¢ Wash. (720) and 15¢ gray (566), each tied by "Newark May 8" cds duplex, reverse with Newark (5.8) and New York (5.9) arrival cds, Very Fine.

1941 Midway Island to Singapore First Flight. Multicolored Goonie Bird cachet flight cover bearing 10¢ dark blue (C7) pair and 30¢ dull blue (C24) tied by "Midway Del 3rd Def. Fleet Mar. Force, Parcel Post, May 5, 1941" cds, purple triangular "Passed for Transmission, 93" censor handstamp, signed by "Lt. Sgt. W.O. Walker" as Midway Island Postmaster at top right, reverse with Guam (5.8) transit and Singapore (5.10) arrival cds, Very Fine and choice, a rare first flight.
