Cat No:105b

ISSUED STAMPS: 1½d horizontal pair Imperforate Between ACSC #132ba (SG 105b), lightly cancelled with 'TATURA/4JL27/VIC' cds, Cat $20,000 (£13,000) mint or used. The unique used multiple and a great rarity of the KGV Commemorative Issues. Ex Squadron Leader HH Apted (Harmers of London, 1975) & David Trimmer (Gregson, 2000). [Illustrated by Geoff Kellow at page 55. The ACSC states one sheet was affected producing eight imperf between pairs, of which only this pair has been used. There is a mint block of 4 in the Royal Collection & a pair in the Australia Post Archives..." Arthur Grey's mint pair - minor faults - sold for $10,710. Considering that there are potentially four mint pairs available to collectors but only this one used pair, we believe this item should be priced at a significant premium]
