1917, 1¢ green, complete A.E.F. booklet of 300, unwatermarked, perf 11 (Scott 498f/BK64), o.g., never hinged, the front cover detached, but all ten panes and interleaving still attached to back cover by original staples; the stamps with fresh color and clean detail; each pane with lightly penciled position number in bottom margin, front cover with small stained spots, a small tear, and a piece missing near staples, Fine to Very Fine, Scott value for ten never hinged panes is $17,000; a complete booklet catalogues $22,500, an extremely rare item, as very few intact booklets have survived, ex "Lake Shore".

1917, 5¢ rose color error, unwatermarked, perf 11 (Scott 505), o.g., never hinged, we know it's wrong to use clichés, but this is pretty as a picture with robust color, clean lines, and sensational centering, Extremely Fine to Superb, a choice example of this popular error, with 1988 P.F. and 2021 P.S.A.G. certificates, the latter graded XF-SUP 95.
