Die No.7731) on 75 x 86½mm semi-glazed white cardstock, pencil "Essay", blue-black manuscript "Die 7731. Sept. 6, 1910" on lower portion of front, reverse with BEP blue "439413" handstamp; light crease, otherwise Very Fine. Scott No. UX25E.

THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THIS REJECTED DIE ESSAY WITH PORTRAIT FACING LEFT FOR THE 1911 2¢ GRANT POSTAL CARD ISSUE.
