Horizontal pair, margins to touched, used with 3¢ dull red (11A), four margins, tied by two strikes of "New Orleans La Sep 15" cds on blue 1856 folded cover to Intra, Italy, red "New-York, Br.Pkt., Sep 23" exchange cds, carried by Cunard Line Arabia from Boston Sep. 24th to Liverpool arriving Oct. 4th, red London (10.6) backstamp, French (10.6) transit and manuscript "17" decimes due rating, reverse with Paris (10.7), Torino (10.9) and Intra (10.10) arrival cds, Very Fine and attractive use at the 5c British open mail rate.
