1¢ Blue, Type I, position 7R1E. Large top margin showing the important complete design at top and the other important margin, the bottom, clearly shows the characteristics of the Type I; other margins clear to cutting; unobtrusive manuscript cancel with only a couple of small flaws (light crease and few tiny scuffs), Fine appearance, with 1972 P.F. and 2016 P.S.A.G. certificates.
Scott No. 5; $67,500.

This example of the Rare Position 7R1E is one of only about 90 in existence and clearly shows the important characteristics of the Type I far more clearly than the majority of the existing examples; an affordable example of this Rarity.

Cat No:8

1851, 1¢ blue, type III. Position 99R2, light town cancel, ample to large margins, strong color with a slight dry print, Very Fine, with the certificate grade far to harsh for a full four margin stamp, with 1999 & 2008 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates, the latter Graded (F-VF 85).
Scott No. 8; $12,500.

A LOVELY EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 1¢ TYPE III IMPERFORATE FROM THE THE POSITION BEARING THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THIS TYPE - POSITION 99R2.

The 99R2 was a fresh entry over an original entry on the plate (portions of which can be seen in the right scrolls), which was short transferred at both the top and bottom. Because of this very short transfer at top and bottom of the design, it produced the widest breaks in the top and bottom outer lines, giving us the finest example of type III.
