The River is very high in many places - in the water there is very little of anything planted yet on the Mississippi and in many places cannot be before the 15th or 20th of this month. I have had no information relative to the corn market from below that I could rely upon but have no doubt that it is very low. Bacon is selling from 15 to 18 cts a pound along the River…"; few tone spots and edge wear, Very Fine and rare.

Alfred Smith, president of the Enfield Falls Canal Company, proposed to change the name of Pine Meadow to Windsor Locks. "Ford" and matching large "5" rating handstamp, small edge tear at left, Very Fine and scarce Indian Territory use from Cherokee Nation, ex-Bleuler.
