Canal Zone, 1904, 8¢ on 50c bister brown, "PANAMA" reading down & up (Scott 15a var), left margin single with part imprint, full o.g., the overprint reading down straddling the selvage, plus up twice on stamp; fresh and clean, the selvage fully exhibiting the overprint, Very Fine, a truly wonderful example, and incredibly rare, with only eight known of the ten produced, with 2007 P.F. certificate.
