Mounted exhibit collection of 100 covers including a few unmounted covers, covers are organized according to voyage from the second to last, 13 freight money letters including single, double and quadruple rates, forwarder uses including Harndens, some noted better uses include 1838 Leith, Scotland to Richmond Va. by second voyage from Bristol Jun. 2nd; 1838 Matanzas, Cuba to London by third return voyage from New York Aug. 16th; 1840 Bristol to Philadelphia with "Forwarded pr Great Western, by Gibbs, Bright & Co., Bristol" forwarders oval backstamp; 1840 Liverpool to New York with "D.E. & A. Acraman, Bristol" stencil forwarders oval on fifteenth voyage; 1840 Auburn N.Y. to London on voyage seventeen showing freight money fee paid, 1843 Philadelphia to Fakenham, England with Harnden & Co.
