Topical Feast. Almost 2,300 standard-sized postcards with a topical flavor. We noticed cards featuring sayings, religion, ads, landscapes, birds, animals, fish, fishing, and plants, pre-WWI to 1950s. Mix of posted and unposted cards, with many printing and design styles represented, including a few RPPCs. All cards are sleeved, and most appear to be F-VF. Some duplication. Stamps are expertly mounted onto clean homemade pages and housed in three-ring binders. Two of the volumes focus on a collection of philatelic material from Burundi from the 1960s to the 1980s. Incorporates hundreds and hundreds of mostly mint stamps in sets, singles, souvenir sheets, FDCs, and covers in ten binders running from the 1930s to the 1970s. Collection was poorly stored probably in a humid climate as there is rust on the metal parts of the binders (see photo) and humidity spots on many pages. Stamps appear fine.
