(2, one the first type and one the second) both written within Kingston showing despatch datestamp, Returned Letter Branch datestamp, framed "advertised" and "unclaimed" handstamps, one additionally marked "Cant get any proper information" and "Not known", and 1d. second type from Newport very lightly cancelled "A59" and by despatch datestamp, and with arrival datestamp (8.1.78) at foot

Postal Stationery. Postcards. 1879 (8 Nov.) 1½d. on 3d. green from Goshen to London, cancelled "A43" and with despatch and Kingston datestamps at left; fine and attractive. This is the earliest recorded example of the "A43" barred numeral, that by Proud being 23 July 1880

An attractive quartet of overseas usages
