More To Pay Handstamps. 1851 (8 Aug.) entire letter, headed "Halse Hall, Four Paths" Vere to Kingston, returned to Vere for postage, then Kingston again, transatlantic to London and finally to Madeira, showing "returned For/postage" D3 handstamp completed for "1/4, Vere P2a (15.8) and London Paid (24.9) datestamps, and "160" rate handstamp, all on face, mail to Madeira having to be prepaid.
