Missent To or Mail Via Jamaica. 1870 (30 July) mourning envelope (central vertical fold) from Hunter's Hill, New South Wales "p Wonga Wonga" via Panama and St. Thomas to Nevis, twice rated "4", both deleted and showing a fine strike of the very rare "Missent to/Jamaica." TR7 handstamp (Proud 130), despatch and Panama (19.10) datestamps on face, Sydney, St. Thomas (23.10), Kingston (24.10) and arrival double-arc (2.11) datestamps on reverse, one 6d. from the original franking remains. Believed one of only two recorded examples of this handstamp.
