1899-1901 Keyplate Issue. Covers. To Other Destinations. 1892 envelopes ex the same correspondence from Kingston to New Rush Goldfield, Bedford, South Africa, the first bearing 1d. (2) and CA ½d. cancelled with squared-circle datestamps, the Cape having as yet not joined the UPU they were not entitled to the UPU rate of 2½d., charged double the deficiency of 6½d. and showing superb "1s/1d" due handstamp and triangular-framed "t", the second bearing CA 3d. and 6d. at the correct rate of 9d. and sharing double-ring datestamp.
