Transit french mail steamer "MONTEVIDEO PAQ. FR. J No. 1 11 JUIN 76" via London July 8 and Omskirch arrival next day. Oval Franco-British Postal Convention mark "FR. 2 F 20 C." for unpaid/shortpaid letters. Posted in Baldero province and prepaid to Montevideo only. Rated in London w. large "1/".

1928, Dec. 30 – RAID AVION MONTEVIDEO – RIO DE JANEIRO, envelope headed AGENCIA HAVAS (French News Agency) endorsed " RAID AVIADORES PERUANOS MARTINEZ PINILLO Y (CARLOS) ZEGARRA " franked with Uruguay 5c. tied by "Montevideo Exterior 9-29.XII.28" cds. Once in Brazil an additional franking of 300 Reis was applied and cancelled "Rio de Janeiro 3-1.29". Very few letters were taken on this flight of which Ciardi records ONLY FOUR COVERS KNOWN. Signed by the pilots, a great rarity of Uruguay air mail.
