1921 Surcharge "VALOR 20 Ctvs." in violet on 50c. pale green (rough/partially double perforation at bottom and on top) used along with first issue 50c. on business envelope to New York, both tied by "SERVICIO POSTAL AEREO/SCADTA/BOGOTA" circular cachet in violet, with additional franking of Colombia 2c red and 3x 3c. green (blunt perfs at right) tied by Barranquilla (Dec. 1921) large cds., and on the reverse with Scadta three line handstamp and small h/s "R. Schoendorf". Despite minor imperfections a scarce cover. Only fifteen used examples have been recorded, seven of those on covers.
