Nepal 1815-1950's (c.) "THE HISTORY & POSTAL HISTORY OF NEPAL": Comprehensive estate from a British gentleman living in Nepal for a longer time. This fantastic collection full of history (in six big boxes) contains hundreds and hundreds of old letters and documents bearing a wide range of seal handstamps including many Royal seals in red, also stamps of early issues, some postal covers (few franked) with many different Nepalese native postmarks (starting with a cover to the Prime Minister Bhimsen Thapa during the Anglo-Gurkha War 1814-16), hundreds of photographs (officials and private) of the early 20th century depicting scenes and persons in Nepal, (but also photo albums of ship cruises to Scandinavia or on the Mediterranean Sea or of scense in Great Britain), plus some other Nepalese items like old books (incl. religious), fiscal documents, and many more.
