1854 Lithographed 1a. blue, Die I, used on small cover from Lahore to Mooltan in 1856, tied by numeral "158" to front, and on the reverse with "LAHORE/10/AUG/1856" despatch dater and "MOOLTAN/13/AUG/1856" arrival dater, both as double circle datestamps in red, plus small boxed "AM" in black. The fine and fresh stamp with wide to huge margins three sides while slightly touched at bottom - still an attractive stamp and cover. In addition two used singles ½a. blue (shades) of Die I, one (A stone, pos. 33 with 'Group 9' touch-up to eye. (Ex T/S coll.)

1879 Illustrated envelope (monk & pagoda) sent registered from Calcutta to Mauritius, with sender's handstamps and "REGISTERED MAURITIUS/No./1 JU 79" oval arrival d/s in blue on picture, and on the reverse with Calcutta '9 May 79' registered and despatch datestamps, blue h/s "Ed. F. Weber/Hamburg" and missing adhesives (unfortunately). Nevertheless, a most attractive cover.

The card slightly creased but still fresh and fine. A VERY RARE DESTINATION FROM GWALIOR STATE.
