Tpography and seasons greetings creates the majority of the material. Quite a lot of the picture postcards from the counties of Uppland, Västmanland, Närke and Stockholm. Excellent quality

Sweden, Military mail collection/accumulation on leaves. Specialized large collection of Swedish military service 1785-1962, with mostly different covers, postcards and messages. The majority are 1900s-1940s. A very good range of the items showing how the system with compulsory military service worked with e.g. calling up orders, pre-printed free answers to the military units and also very interesting "calling-up" orders for horses and dogs. A remarkable collection, the largest what we have seen. For the specialist but also for the collector wishing to start a good collection of this area. See pictures on philea.se. Ex H. Hohndorf. Sweden, Military mail lot. Internment of the Polish submarines in Sweden 1940-1945: Lot of 3 covers. One registered cover with censor cancel "WAXHOLMS FÄSTNING" and postmark VAXHOLM 29.3.1940, then a cover with two lilac cancels in Swedish and French about free Prisoner of War (PoW) mail and postmark "VAXHOLM" 19.2.1940 with content. This one is shown in Facit Postal X catalogue. Third cover is from when the Polish sailors where later interned in Mariefred 1941 with different censor cancels and postmark "STOCKHOLM 5" (where all this kind of mail was handled) 6.12.1941. All covers nicely mounted on pages with facts about this starting when 3 Polish submarines escaped the Germans in Sep.1939. Total 182 Polish were kept in captivity. From or showing more or less every meeting place (at least 15 different but not Jäbbarp) with postal services and some items to soldiers at the meeting places. Sweden, Military mail lot. Internment of German soldiers in Sweden 1945: Lot of 3 covers from camps in Backamo and Ränneslätt. Two covers from camp in Backamo, sent postage free and with Swedish censor cancels in Swedish, French and German, from the German officer Spennemann with censor label and postmark "STOCKHOLM 1" 13.6.1945 (handled by the special department for security in Sweden) and from Sippel with postmark "STOCKHOLM 90" 27.9.1945 with censor label with cancel "Granskad av SVENSK militärmyndighet". The third cover from officer R. Schanz in Ränneslätt camp (outside Eksjö) with red cancel in Swedish, French and German about free postage for Prisoner of War. Also red censor cancel, postmark "STOCKHOLM 90" (the mail from interned citizens was handled at the Swedish military headquarter in Stockholm) and with letter content. Sweden, Military mail lot. Internment of Norwegian cityzens in Sweden 1940: Lot of 6 covers. Two covers with two different censor cancels in Swedish and French, censor label in Swedish from Filipstad with cancel "POSTANSTALTEN 1112*" (used on mail from militaries in Filipstad) to Oslo, Norway. One similiar but within Sweden. Also three covers to the Norwegians in Filipstad with Swedish censorship (cancels and label), where two is from Oslo, Norway with Norwegain/German censorship with different cancels. All covers nicely mounted on pages with facts about this starting when part af the Norwegian Army had to cross the border into Sweden late Apri 1940. All covers is presented at www.philea.se. A large study collection of the M3 issue in two albums on visir leaves, consisting of both unused and used military letters, reply stamps on and off covers. This special study of the M3 shades is one of the most comprehensive of this what we have seen. Also with a lot of facts regarding the M3-printing and some other stamps and reply-stamps for shade comparisson. Something for the specialist but also for a collector wishing to study this issue. Sweden, Military mail collection/accumulation. Comprehensive collection of the M1-M13 issues in 6 albums on visir leaves and other leaves, consisting of both unused and used military letters, reply stamps on and off covers. What we have seen of better items is 5 M1s, some M3s oncover,18 M8 reply stamps and a special study of the M2 with a lot of varieties (more than in Facit) and shades with facts but also of course a lot of M4s-M11s with different varieties and shades. Also lots of reference materials such as articles. Definitely something for the collector wishing to start to collect the Swedish military issues. High catalogue value. Fine quality!
