1860-69 Second Roulettes 'TEN PENCE' in Black on 9d yellow with the Surcharge Inverted SG 37a, 'GPO ADELAIDE/OC13/69/SA' cds, Cat £7500. An iconic stamp. 1883-99 Bantam ½d imperf plate proof in green affixed to a GPO memorandum (133x207mm) with printed date 'June 12th 1882' & stating '...five specimens of the new...Halfpenny Postage Stamps, which have been issued during the present month' & inscribed to "The Postmaster-General/Cuba", faint blemishes. [Gibbons give the release date of SG 182 as 1.3.1883. This advice indicates the issue was 9 months earlier] The illustration is above Lot 1435.

1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ £15 silver SG 207a marginal block of 4 from the base of the sheet, CTO with the base of the Melbourne implement that is blank at the base, full unmounted o.g., Cat £10,000+. Superb! Ex Australia Post Archives Sale 1 (1987) & Ed Williams: sold at the Prestige auction of 26.1.2002 for $8400. [This was the highest denomination block released by Australia Post. It is highly unlikely any other blocks of this or the £20 exist]
