Interesting collection with a range of Palmtrees & Malietoa mint multiples including 6d block of 18 (tonespots), 1/- block of 30 (most units **), 2/6d strip of 3 & a superb ** corner block of 12 with Target in the margin, German Colony Overprints set used, Yachts set used (3mk x2, both with fake cancels, 5mk with minor toning), 'G.R.I.' selection to '6d.' on 50pf *&U, Overprints on New Zealand with KGV Recess 3d ** block of 24 (6x4) with six Two-Perf Pairs (the lower row creased), Postal Fiscals QV to £1 x2 plus unlisted £2 & Arms Wide Setting to £2, etc, also Booklets 6/- (blue cover), 6/- (pink cover) x2, 6/9d, 11/9d & 12/- x3, generally fine to very fine. [Gibbons state they no longer list the QV £2 "as it is doubtful this was used for postal purposes", despite several examples with genuine postal cancels having been recorded. By their reasoning, HUNDREDS of high denominations from dozens of Colonies should be delisted.
