China, 1921 (July 1), First Flight cover, Peking—Tsinan—Shanghai (Starr-Mills 2), a lovely, neat cover, franked on front by 1¢, 5¢ on 4¢ and 5¢ on 6¢ Junk issues, along with a bottom margin single 15¢ First Issue Airmail, all tied by Peking bilingual origin c.d.s.'s; Registered handstamp on front; reverse shows a variety of boldly-struck markings, including Peking origin c.d.s., Nansiang and Tsinan transits, along with a violet boxed 38 x 31 mm chop applied at Peking, Very Fine, a lovely and scarce early flight.

China, 1923 (Aug. 31), Final Flight cover, Peking to Pei-Tai-Ho (Starr-Mills 6), a splendid example from the final flight on this route, which started in 1921 for this beach community, and one of only two flights made in 1923; cover carries a 2¢ on 3¢ Junk along with 30¢ First Issue Airmail, both tied by bold bilingual "Peking/31 AUG 23/11" c.d.s.; front additionally shows 3-line bilingual violet "To be despatched by/Aerial Service" handstamp, with Pehtaiho Beach 31.8.23 receiver on reverse, choice, Very Fine, scarce.

China, 1929 (July 15), Rignot & Arrachart Flight cover (without Cachet), Canton to Shanghai (Starr-Mills 18), scarce uncacheted example from this popular flight of two French Army aces; franked on front by 1¢ (4) and 10¢ Unification issues, with pair of 1¢ Junks on reverse, all tied by Canton origin c.d.s.'s; front shows manuscript "Paris-Tokyo air-flight" notation, with part of Registration label on reverse, Very Fine, only perhaps 50 covers flown without the red cachet (which was applied to 300 covers) and franked with ordinary postage.

The Japan—Shanghai—Hong Kong leg of the flight carried only 111 letters receiving backstamps at Hong Kong. Only 16 letters, this one included, received one of the specially-prepared backstamps, arriving Manila on 27 September
