PORTUGAL VIRTUALLY COMPLETE COLLECTION, Housed in a Scott National album, starting with the 1853 imperfs onwards, mostly used in the classics tending to go mint, as the decades go by during the 20th century. There are hardly any empty spaces, beginning four margined #1 with many superb examples on the first page, not only in the 1853/1855 but also the King Luiz imperf defins complete as well. The second page similar completeness on the typographed and embossed issues, again with enormous Scott retail and as far as we can see virtually everything else complete, leading on to the Saint Anthony issue of 1895 complete, Scott #132 - #146 (cat over $1200), through to 20th century with better m/s etc. etc. A delightful collection needing very little else, completely uncatalogued but will catalogue no doubt a very large number, offered intact as received.

Cat No:Collection

PORTUGAL AND PORTUGESE COLONIESExtensive collection, mint and used, housed in 2 Scott National albums. The Portugal from the imperfs onwards #1, #2, good range of 1855, 1856 as well as 1862 complete, most of 1866/67s to high values, similarly perforated the same with few empty spaces 1882 onwards through to turn of the century. The 20th century has much material housed in the side of the album pages, waiting to be placed into the collection, so a careful viewing is advised. Also see, good back of the book including Civilian Rifle Clubs complete etc. The colonies Mozambique through to Zambesia, a similar pattern but not as extensive as the Portugal, good semi-postals noticed and better classics as well from the crown issues onwards
