PORTUGUESE TIMOR. To Portugal. 80r in very fine pair on a registered cover both tied by Crown pmk Dilly 1 Feb 1887, partly in manuscript (the date), with an extra strike on the right, to Lisbon 26 Mch 1887. On the back written 'Registrada'. A very rare cover in wonderful quality and only a few recorded from the Crown issue period. Timor early covers are the rarest of all Portuguese Colonies.
