1897-1903 Covers bearing QV 1d or ½d pair, sent locally (9), to the USA (underpaid) or G.B (3), two from Hamilton with arrival backstamps of Flatts or Paget East, the others cancelled at Baileys Bay (2), Crawl, Devonshire South, Flatts, Ireland Island, Mangrove Bay, Paget West (2), Warwick East or Warwick West, a good lot, one on a Government House mourning cover. 1904-09 Picture postcards franked Farthing surcharge, Dock issue ½d, 1d (7, two with 1d red) or ½d + Farthing surcharge pair, with cancels of Baileys Bay (on postcard of the Post Office), Crawl (2), Devonshire South (2), Flatts, Somerset Bridge, Warwick East (coloured cancel?) or Warwick West (2), a good lot. (10).

1904-11 Dock issue covers with 2½d rates to Argentina or USA (5), 1d local rate or 1d to Canada (2, one with four ¼d stamps), cancels comprise Baileys Bay (3), Flatts, Paget East (2), Paget West (2) or Southampton West, all fine. (9).

Harrington Sound. 1920 Covers to the USA, Caravel frankings paying rates of 2½d or 6½d, or registered at 10d or 1/- rates, one with a printed registration label. Also 1921 local cover with Tercentenary 1d cancelled by type H9 single ring c.d.s. (5).

Pembroke West. 1898 (May 3) Cover franked 1d from Hamilton to Pembroke with arrival backstamp. The rarest of all the sub-office datestamps, just four examples recorded as cancellations, probably fewer as arrival marks. Photo on Page 66. (Image1)
