1886 (Feb 2) Buff Provisional Formula postcard setting C with ½d stone stamp cancelled by St. Georges "2" duplex, sent by the renowned philatelist and philatelic author Major Edward B. Evans to his wife in Boaz Island, Hamilton and Inland Island backstamps. Boaz Island located between Ireland Island and Somerset Island. A scarce card used. Photo on Page 60. (Image1)

1885-1914 Postcards written up on pages, including QV 1d postcards with Inland Island "3" duplex cancels (3) and uses to Hong Kong (Baileys Bay c.d.s), Dominica, Curacao and Russia; QV ½d postcard with blue Hamilton duplex, local use to H.M.S "Pearl" or S.M.S "Vineta"; 1d on 1½d cards used in the correct period (2); Dock Issue ½d and 1d Specimen overprints, ½d uprated card to Montserrat, ½d uprated card from S.M.S "Hansa", 1d card franked 1d pair registered to Germany, etc. (26).

1903 Dock Issue ½d postcard, the reverse with a printed view across the harbour towards Hamilton, a little creasing, closed tear at foot, but very rare. One example of the same view (entitled "view from Belterre") is recorded on an earlier QV card; these are the only two postal stationery postcards with printed views recorded.

1892-1902 2d Registration envelopes, size F, ultramarine printing "SPECIMEN" (2), unused (2) or used to London franked 2½d; and grey-green printing unused, used to St. Kitts or G.B both franked 1d, used to USA franked ½d + 1d pair, or used locally franked 1d, all fine. (10).

1894 (Apr 4) 2d Registration envelope size H2, grey-green printing, sent from St. Georges to England, franked ½d pair, 2d, 2½d pair and 3d paying 11d postage, vertical fold at left, otherwise fine and a very unusual franking. Photo on Page 64. (Image1)

1899-1908 QV 2d Registration envelopes, size H2, ultramarine printing, 1899 envelope (minor tone spots) to England franked 1/- yellow-brown, 1901 envelope to USA franked Farthing surcharge pair + block of four + 6d dull mauve, and 1908 envelope to Montserrat franked Dock issue 1d with St. Kitts transit backstamp. Also 1895 envelope with grey-green printing franked 1d + 4d, the embossed 2d stamp unfortunately cut from reverse. Three fine uses of this envelope, just 1,000 printed. (4).

1903-12 2d Dock issue registration envelopes, size F, grey-green printing "SPECIMEN" (2), unused (2) or used (7) with covers to USA uprated 2½d (2, one with Dock ½d + QV 2d) or 5d, to Austria uprated 2½d (both Dock 1d stamps and two ¼d stamps), or to G.B uprated 1d, 2d or 3d, one cover redirected with "2d" charge mark; also ultramarine printing used to France or USA uprated 2½d. 1947 KGVI ½d Newspaper wrapper, second setting, perfined "SPECIMEN / OF NO VALUE". Very scarce, from the De La Rue archives.

1945-88 Air letters in an album and loose including KGVI Specimen overprint, others unused and used (36), also unused formula airletters with printed pictures inside, sold by the Bermuda Red Cross (8), all fine. (44).
