RED OVERPRINT: 'P..O' (Error of Typesetting) on Rouletted 6d bright ultramarine, rouletting remarkably clear of the design on all sides, very fine GPO cds of JA8/69 clear of the variety. Superb. Underrated at RRRR: Ex Crocker (Harmer Rooke, 20.10.1938) and Colonel Harry Napier (III). Don Pearce states "No other copy traced or sold: all other references are to this stamp". We have certainly never encountered another example. It should therefore be rated RRRRRR, and as unrecorded unused. A beautiful stamp, illustrated by Ron Butler at page 125.
