1946 philatelic cover to Victoria with KGVI 3d tied by one of two fine to superb strikes of the rare 'SALAMAUA/ 19JA46/PAPUA-NEW GUINEA' cds. The rarest postmark of the Territory of Papua & New Guinea. [A Salamaua registered cover sold at our auction of 1.3.2020 for $5825]
