BLACK OVERPRINT: 'N.T.' on Perf 11½-12½ 1d deep green, remarkably well centred, professionally repaired at U/R corner, light indistinct cds. Underrated at RR: unrecorded unused by Ron Butler but one example has been noted by us. Ex Rev James Mursell and Colonel Harry Napier. RPSofL Certificate (1965).

BLACK OVERPRINT: 'N.T.' on De La Rue Crown/SA Wmk Rouletted 2d deep red-orange, rouletting on all sides but with some trimmed roulettes & a tiny separation fault at the top, small-part 'NO[RTHERN TERY]/S.A' cds. Grossly underrated at R: unrecorded unused. Les Munn's defective example sold for $529 & the very fine 'Tamiami' example sold for $1138. [The only date recorded by Don Pearce was 31.5.1870]
