1919 (Dec) real photo cards x15 featuring Ross & Keith Smith's Vickers 'Vimy' arriving at Darwin including shots of the large crowd, the plane & the crew, three with R Rohrer imprint & one is a PPC-size photo; five other related cards (one damaged), and two other items. A very good lot. [10.12.2019 marks the centenary of the first England-Australia flight, an epic achievement that earned Ross & Keith Smith the 'Daily Mail's £10,000 prize for the first plane to complete the journey]

1920 (Aug) Rohrer (Darwin) real photo cards of Ray Parer's arrival at Darwin to complete the first single-engine flight between England & Australia, all but one with notations on the address side, unused. [No mail was carried, which has caused this important flight to have been largely forgotten]
