Lovely Collection of 78 Different Famous People Signatures, from the 1930s to the 1950s, mostly all on USA 1c orange Franklin stamps and 1c green Roosevelt stamps, but also on other issues including some Canadian. The list of signatures included here is quite impressive, and is mostly comprised of Hollywood actors, but also of well known figures, mostly American, as well as some State Governors of the day. The owner had apparently sent all of these out for signatures with self-addressed return envelopes. We noted Lionel Barrymore, Joan Fontaine, Glenn Ford, Garry Cooper, Betty Grable, Olivia De Haveland, Lauren Bacall, Fred Astaire, George Burns, Jack Benny, Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, Gene Autry, Henry Fonda, Emily Post, Walt Disney, Bing Crosby, Ira Gershwin, Frank Yankovic and many more. A rare opportunity to acquire a collection of so many famous signatures. All pages are scanned online, and the collection comes with a list of the names. (Image)
