1909 Esperanto card 'UNO FAMILIO ENLANDANA' (Aborigines or Kanakas) with the message written in Esperanto, to Bulgaria with two different Bulgarian datestamps, minor crease. Scarce destination.
1911 colourful chromolitho advertising card for 'ORIGINAL/MEYS/SEPARATOR' featuring John Bull, 'HOCKLEY & CO' agent's h/s below the illustration, faint typed message in green from Hockleys. Beautiful card.
1925 Murray (Gympie) ? real photo "Rocky Mail Disaster", a terrific photo showing damage to the railway line on the trestle bridge, wreckage of several carriages in the ravine, plus an array of workers &, gawkers, unused. [The disaster occurred on 10.6.1925, south of Gympie, when the overnight mail train from Brisbane to Rockhampton was partly derailed. At the time, it was the worst railway disaster in Queensland, with 9 killed & 48 injured]

Great Barrier Reef: c.1921 real photo card of a huge flag above a makeshift wooden structure populated with sailors, endorsed on reverse "Triangulation mark/Flag/Double Island". [Double Island is within the Great Barrier Reef, about 30km N of Cairns. It was visited by HMAS Geranium during a coastal survey]
Gulf of Carpentaria: c.1920 real photo card endorsed on the address side "Tide Pole Readers from HMAS Geranium surveying Gulf of Carpentaria", very fine unused. HMAS Geranium was decommissioned after WWI but was brought back into service to conduct coastal surveys, mainly in WA and Queensland waters, minor blemishes still fine unused.
Gympie: 1909 Shell Series 'Upper Mary St, Gympie' marvellous animated streetscape with stagecoach plus legible signs of Massey Harris Depot and John Cass Boot Palace, to Melbourne with 1d tied by very fine Barred Numeral '342' of 'PIALBA' (cds alongside), bumped corners.
Mount Morgan: Lundager (Mt Morgan) 'Steam Shovel at Work, Mt. Morgan' showing steam shovel with Mt Morgan Gold Mining Co emblazoned on its boom loading ore onto railway trucks pulled by steam locomotive, used 1907 with Queensland 1d orange tied 'ROCKHAMPTON' duplex cancel, couple of minor blemishes.
