Stock of Canadian Postcards, Filling Just Over Half of a Banker's Box, 1900s and On, with probably around 1,000 cards in all, with a good selection of earlier cards, as well as more modern, noting a binder containing a collection of better 1967 Expo cards, also street scenes, tourist attractions and more. A better than average lot of this type, with many sleeved items, overall fine to very fine. (Image)

Collection of Over 150 Early Canadian Postcards, 1901 to 1952, includes street scenes, tourist attractions, Western Canada cards and more. A few early black and white, rest in colour, vast majority are Edward VII era and mostly 2c rates to Europe, many with stamps on the picture side. Note cards to Austria, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Mexico and the United States. A few are not mailed and a few with missing stamps. The usual corner creases or edge wear, still a very nice group of early cards. (Image)

Group of 18 Better Early Canadian Christmas Postcards, with a KGVI stationery card showing Santa and Bulova advertising (unmailed), a card mailed Pincher Creek Alta to Cochrane Alta on Christmas 1905 showing Natives "at home", a very lavish postcard depicting Santa, etc., mailed with a bisected 2c Admiral (owner paid $260 for this), a Christmas card mailed in 1914 to Wavey Lake, Alberta (RF E, open only a short period), a postcard depicting a rare black Santa on his motorized sleigh, three postcards mailed 1909, 1910 and 1911 each with a Muskoka free Hospital label (all three are tied), a postcard mailed Christmas Day 1916 "on active service" from the Canadian Medical Corps in Egypt to Canada, and a group of 9 Edward VII and Admiral Christmas cards, some with nice designs. Overall very fine, all pictured online, all postcards were mailed unless noted. (Image)

Group of 23 United States Postcards Pertaining to Christmas, all mailed and includes some very lavishly illustrated and colourful cards, some embossed, one mailed in 1905 appears to be made of plywood, three have Red Cross seals (1908, 1913, 1927). Group of About 2,000 Postcards from France, 1900s to Modern, filling a Banker's Box plus a smaller shipping box. The lot consists of mostly post-World War II, but with some earlier cards. Lots of tourist scenes, churches, with about half and half used and unused, noting several of the used having single frankings, and also saw some mailed to Canada at the preferred rate. Overall very fine with the usual light wear on some. (Image)
