Narrabeen: c.1920 real photograph card of 'FURLOUGH HOUSE/NARRABEEN NSW' showing groups of adults & children outside the accommodation, unused. [Furlough House, as the name suggests, was an establishment where the wives & children of active servicemen could have a holiday. It is now an aged care facility]
Richmond River: 'TEAK LOG, RICHMOND RIVER' 1907 (circa) real photograph postcard by Fergusson (Sydney) picturing a pile of massive logs and another loaded aboard a horse-drawn timber jinker & dwarfing the children who have hopped on the back for the photo, a timber worker with a two-man cross-cut saw stands alongside, used at 'LISMORE'. A ripper!
Sydney: 1904 Graphic Series giant panoramic card (245x135mm) 'CIRCULAR QUAY...showing Mail Steamers, P&O, Messageries Maritimes, Orient-Pacific, American and Nord-Deutscher Lloyd Lines' to New Zealand with 1d pair & 2d tied by Sydney duplex, a bit soiled/stained but remarkably unfolded. [Intended to be sent as Printed Matter for 1d but the message exceeds the 5 words limit so paid at 2d letter rate per ½oz x2!]
Sydney: 1904 Graphic Series 3-panel panoramic card 'ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SHOW SYDNEY' being a full-width view of the main arena with numerous horses and cattle, 100s of onlookers & legible advertising signs, used Sydney to Adelaide, very minor blemishes.
Sydney: 1907 advertising card for Grace Bros Department Stores showing signage for Wheeler & Wilson Mfg Co Show Rooms & Sewing Machines, miscut with Grace Bros imprint at the top largely omitted, used to 'CROOKWELL' with arrival cds.
Yamba: c.1908 real photograph card of a wood-sawing competition with teams of two attacking fearsome logs with their cross-cut saws, used at 'YAMBA/NSW'. Terrific photograph.
