Cat No:1797 S130

1797 Draped Bust Rev '97 w/ Stems S-130 (R2) easily F+ by wear w/ a few small obv rim bumps @ K5 & K8. The obv die break @ K10 and the defective left ribbon end on the rev identify this variety. Perhaps net VG+ but overall, a nice coin despite the flaws. (Image)

1798 Draped Bust 2nd Hair Style S-168 (R3) easily VF or better detail on a somewhat rough planchet w/ a few light corrosion spots (more on the rev) and a small rev scratch thru E of CENT. Still far better than that typically encountered. Worth inspection! (Image)

Cat No:1802 S228

1802 Draped Bust w/ rev fraction error 1/000 which is diagnostic for S-228 (R2). XF detail on light brown surfaces but the coin has sustained some post-mint damage in the form of obv & rev scratches and marks that lessen the coin's overall appeal, but it is still a very collectible example of this interesting variety. Cat No:1807 S276

1807 Draped Bust Large Fraction S-276 (R1) F+ by wear. Medium-to-dark planchet with lighter highpoints. There is a light pin scratch in the left obv field but it is unobtrusive. The coin has virtual 180-degree die rotation which is one factor used to determine the attribution as S-276. Overall, a very nice example of this variety. Inspect! (Image)
