Cat No:1901O

1901-O XF. Nice detail and slightly proof-like fields. Light surface hairlines indicate an early cleaning though now naturally recolored. A very scarce date especially in the high circ grades. Bowers comments that this coin is " . . . . . underrated in higher circulated grades, and VF to AU coins are very scarce. This is often one of the last issues collectors need to complete a set, [outside of] 1896-S, 1901-S, & 1913-S." (Image)
