1872 Type III XF+ perhaps a bit better. Nice coin for a very scarce Type 3 $1 gold. Mintage is only 3,500 and PCGS has graded a mere 111 coins and that number undoubtedly includes many re-submissions. A serious opportunity for the gold enthusiast. (Image)
