BLACK OVERPRINT: 'M.' on Rouletted 2/- rose-carmine, rouletting on all sides, very lightly mounted large-part brown o.g. Rated RRRR. RPSofV Certificate (1979). The 'Besancon' example sold for SFr180. [Most of the earlier Rouletted 2/- Departmentals are significantly stained by their characteristic brown 'blackboy' gum, even if it has been removed. This stamp is unusually fresh & about as fine as one could expect]
